Biography
As Corporate Data Protection Officer, Gertrud focuses on supporting the implementation of the necessary organisational and technical measures in line with the European Global Data Protection Regulation in place since May 2018. This includes the Management of the Register of Processing Activities, the implementation of Privacy by Design and Data Protection Impact Assessments. Furthermore, she rolls out adequate policies and procedures and takes care of Training and Awareness of CHAMP staff worldwide. CHAMP is committed to implement GDPR across all jurisdictions, also in non-EU locations.
Prior 2017, Gertrud held management positions in CHAMP in the field of Change Management and Project Office. Before joining CHAMP, Gertrud acted as CARGOLUX’ Export Ground Services Manager, responsible for the cargo flow from Luxembourg to the world. Gertrud’s career has throughout the years always been at the convergence or business, logistics and IT.
Gertrud holds a Master of Business Administration and an extensive training record in Data Protection, Audit, Project, Process and last but not least in People Management.
